Interesting projects...

There are some interesting projects going on at work right now including the development and customisation of an online print procurement system which will allow clients (and retail public) to order printed products online through a browser interface. This is nothing really new, but when you leverage this with an in-house print shop running two HP Indigo 3000 colour digital presses and three Digimasters for mono print, you can see the potential!

There is some other stuff too like the School Planner site which will probably get a major face lift this summer, in line with some of the ideas and products that we'll be rolling out to the 800 or so schools we currently service. The German market is share is growing too, and has really taken off in recent months.

They'll also be an online publishing site where budding authors can submit manuscripts online or simply upload their files and have a printed book created on the fly...exciting technologies indeed...
